Queensland Doctors Identifying Health Needs
Success! Your request has been sent and a representative will be in contact soon.
AMA Queensland Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has a long and proud history of helping Queenslanders who fall through the gaps in the health system. Members of AMA Queensland started the Foundation in 2000 in response to growing patient needs, shortfalls in health research funding and to help medical students experiencing financial hardship to pursue their dreams of becoming a doctor.
The Foundation has evolved over the past 25 years and continues to review direct funding applications and also recently focused annual fundraising efforts to support key Queensland charities, health services and community causes. This includes including $25,000 for Juiced TV, $70,583.45 for Youngcare, $173,780 for Beddown, and $154,000 shared between nine domestic and family violence support services across the state.
To recognise the 25th anniversary, AMA Queensland Foundation is once again asking Doctors around the state to share their feedback on health issues, charities or community causes that need financial help.
Doctors work with patients from all walks of life and have a bedside view of the key health priorities and shortfalls facing Queensland and this survey seeks feedback from Queensland-based medical doctors.
This short, anonymous survey offers some suggestions for consideration only, and also seeks individual input. We encourage all Queensland Doctors to share their feedback on areas of need that the AMA Queensland Foundation can help support.
